Naughty Shorts dresses are one of my many inspirations behind wanting to learn how to sew. Rebecca, the fabulous designer of Naughty Shorts, upcycles vintage fabrics, bedsheets, etc. to make one-of-a-kind, custom order tea dresses.
Look at all them perrdy colors!
On Rebecca's blog, plentiful varieties of retro fabrics are available for the custom order dresses. Patterns all so cool and whimsical! It seems to be she sells out of them quickly, due to limited quantity of each vintage pattern and a steady invasion of orders, but the sold out fabrics are continuously replenished with eye-catching, new selections. Makes for choosing one *extremely* difficult. I'm terrible when there are so many options. And there were so, so, so many fantastic options.
After great debate, I chose a lilac floral.
The final product!
A perfect off-to-brunch-and-then-stroll-the-outdoor-market-on-Saturday-afternoon dress...
Handmade with love.
